Honey Late is a yellow-flesh nectarine variety that is harvested in the late season.

The breeder of the variety is Zaiger Genetics – California, USA.

Publisher of the variety in Europe: IPS – Montellimar, France.

As a tree, it has semi-lateral behavior and middle vifor. Its flowering is middle to late season and it is rich. It can grow and produce high yields in areas with low, medium, or high chilling units. The size of the fruit is dominant AA. The shape of the fruit is round to oblong. Honey Late’s production is considered very good. When the season is favorable for high fruit set, it is advised to be thinned strictly for the fruit size to have better results. It enters production fast and it is high every year.

Honey Late’s taste is very good, aromatic and sweet. The color of the fruit is attractive, shiny red outside without rust or spots. Inside the fruit has yellow color. It doesn’t show broken pit and also it does not show any sensitivity to rain cracking. Its firmness is very strong and it can be managed easy by the producer.

Honey Late is a late-season variety (end of August – beginning of September), with clean skin, high production and a long shelf-life.
