A few words about the Ibiza peach variety
Ibiza is a white-flesh peach variety that is harvested late in the season.
It originates from a random seedling selection of the new variety breeding program by French company PSB ( Murcia – Spain).
As a tree, it has semi-open behavior and strong growth. It can flourish in low or high chill areas. It blossoms in the late season and its flowering is plentiful.
Its fruit size is AA-A and its shape uniformly round. Ibiza enters production rapidly and its yield is high every year.
Its taste is very good, sub-acidic and balanced. Its fruit skin color is red on the biggest part of the surface and pink-white on the rest.
It does not have split-pit. It is resistant to rain cracking. Its firmness is very good and its flesh is consistent.
